Question about Vortech MP40W gen 2

Hello Everyone,

Im in the process of setting up a 120 gal, the question I have is about the Ecotech marine vortech MP40w Gen 2. I know the are expensive, but are the worth they it. I had a reeflow dart and OM4way on a 90 gal. that worked great but it was a little loud and used a lot of power. The Ecotech use less power a seem to produce good flow. Just looking for good feedback before I spent alot of money.

Also all I need 2 for my setup, right.

You will be extremely happy with the VorTech MP40w. The low profile in the tank (as we know, in-tank real estate is expensive), low energy consumption (going green is a nice bonus), controllability of the pumps output. If you're using two, then the wireless communication is outstanding.

I can't say enough good things about the VorTech pump. The ONLY downside I feel is the fixed propeller. I'd like to be able to adjust the direction of the flow.

Other than that, I'd say it's a grand product in the scheme of things.
