I currently have a 30 gallon tank (24.5 x 14.5 x 21) which includes SPS, Zoas, a bubble tip anemone, and 2 clowns. I get solid flow running a 130 Gyre on one side at about 50% and everything seems to be happy. The only issue being I don't get a very random flow and detritus tends to settle a lot.
I'm wondering if placing another Gyre on the other side would be beneficial. Obviously I'd have to have both running at a lower percentage, but I'm thinking that would create more randomized flow and allow my tank to get better overall movement.
Thoughts on this? Would it be overkill?
