Question: Changing Rock in established system

I have about 200 gallon system that I am wanting to reaquascape with dead figi rock. I am going to be putting about 150+ lbs into the DT.

Do you guys think I would have a problem with the water chemistry if I am going to use the same water or should I just completely cycle the rock and then rescape?

I am simply going to pull out all the existing aiptasia infested rock and put completely clean rock into the system.

Please advise.

Thanks!

If you remove all of your existing rock, you lose all of your biological filtration. Is this a newer tank, or an established one with livestock?

This tank has been up for about 1 year now.

Here is my livestock that will need to stay in the tank:
1) Red Sea, Desjardini Sailfin - 5 inches
2) Purple Tang - 4+ inches
3) Yellow Tang; Hawaii - 3-4 inches
4) Lavender Tang; Hawaii - 3-4 inches
5) Red Coris Wrasse; Hawaii - 6 inches
6) Mystery Wrasse - 2-3 inches
7) 2 African Cleaner Wrasse
8) 2 - Limbaugh's Chromis
9 ) 4 - Green Chromis
10) 1 - Indigo Chromis
11) 2 - Vanderbilt Chromis
12) 1 - Hawaiian Snowflake Damsel
13) 2 - Orange Anthias
14) 1 - Gold Stripe Maroon Clown - 4 inches
15) 1 - Aiptasia Eating Filefish
16) 1 Female and 1 Male - Orange Peel Pseudochromis
17) Chrysurus Angelfish - 5-6 Inches (Tank BOSS and somehow reef safe thus far)
18) Australian Blue Devil Grouper - 6-7 inches.
19) Longnose Hawkfish - 4+ inches

that is not a good plan you will have no bio filter with the dry rock. and even if you had fully cured live rock you my get a recycle by moving rock and sand bed

I also forgot to mention that I am going to also be changing out my sand completely and will continue to run my Warner Marine N/P pellets.

Don't do it like that... You will spike ammonia and nitrites. Too high of a bio-load to take out all your rock and sand... imho
