Question for Indo-Pacific Eel keepers

More specifically the Fimbriated Moray. I currently have my tank temp set at 79 degrees but I am wondering what the water temperature you all keep your tanks for species specific. My particular eel is supposedly from the north-eastern coast of Australia (I was told by the supplier), but I'm not sure of the actual location. What I found on the internet is just averages that vary so much that I don't know which one is the most accurate. Any help would be appreciated.
