COnsidering a macro- I know i've posted in the photo forum but want to get a local aswer.
Considering this (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro )any other suggestions are def welcome.

Most of my tank shots are taken with the 100mm, including the one that won the photo contest. It's a great, sharp lens. The 60mm is maybe $50 less, it gives up a lot of working distance. Other options in the range are the Tamron 90 or the Sigma 105, but I think you've said that you prefer to stick with Canon.

The 100 is a great lens and is very, very sharp. I'm actually selling one if your interested.

The 60mm is noisy and slow. I had it for a couple of days and ended up upgrading it for the 100mm Works a whole lot better. :-)
