I am buying 2 6025s for my 40 gallon. I plan on having them alternate on/off every 30 minutes with my ACjr. Are there any warranty concerns I should know about when using them on a wavemaker? And, are the 6025s what you would recommend for this purpose in my tank?

15 minutes is the minimum and my only concern with the AC is that these pumps have very specific operating voltage ranges of 102-130V. Ideally they get 120-126V. Higher and lower voltages lead to louder delayed starts and they will chatter some on start up even in ideal conditions. The soft start features ramp up voltage and this is not ideal. A simple timer is preferred.

If you will have lots of SPS you may want 6045's instead.

Ok, it's only a softie / polyp tank so I should be fine then I suppose.
