Aka lemmywinks
Basically, I took out a pair of SEIO 1500's out of my tank and put in a pair of 6000 Tunze's. My temps dropped almost 4 degrees when I did this.
I'm sure it is because the Tunze use less wattage but my question is this:
The wattage of the pump generally turns to heat, if on the 7095 wavemaker, when one pump is energized is the other using electricity and in turn heating the water?
The reason I ask is because I was thinking about upgrading my pumps to 6100's for my pending upgrade and just turning them down while in the 90. I don't want the water to heat much more since the 6100's use more wattage.
Thanks and sorry if this is confusing!
