question on 6025 Mod

Hey Roger or anyone else who can help answer this.

I'm thinking about Modding out the tunze 6025. with some of the mods used on RC. Question is though.

Is there a way to get more diffused Flow without upping the flow rates to 1200+ gph?

trying to get more diffusion of the flow but same gph.
but my understanding of it is. if i open it up any more than it is. it will push the water harder?

If you just cut the front output nozzle shorter, you should get a wider flow but no increase. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, if you cut the snorkel off the front, basically changing the pump to a straight sphere the flow diffuses.
