Question on 6100

I was gonna pick one up from a local reefer. And I had a question my Reef Keeper Lite. I can put it on a 2 sec pulse basically trying to create a small wave motion. will this work

I would verify it has or update it to the 6100.700 drive unit, made before 2006 it will have a older 6080.600 or 6100.600 drive unit, this will click louder and wear out faster. 2 seconds is on the slow side for a true wave, I would expect it to be more of a pulse than a real wave, typically a 4 ft tank achieves a wave at a timing of .40- .50 seconds and a 6ft at .60-.80 seconds.
