Question on AP 24....vents on right side

I see that the vents on the right side of the AP 24 have covers that slide into place to block them off. Do I keep all of them blocked off except the top one to create a skimmer effect or should I have some of the others out too?

Nope the top one out will do the top skimming. When doing a water change, be careful and take out another one because sometimes when the water gets low it will suck the back chambers dry.
