Question on fish behavior.

Since introduced to the DT 3 days ago my fish, 2 clowns and 2 chromis, are hanging out on a corner of the tank going up and down. They almost never wonder into the rock or any other part of it. If they do they come back fairly quick.

Why would it be? See:

My clowns have made their home under the overflow from day one and it's been a couple years. They'll find a spot they like and stay there until it's time to eat. I wouldn't worry about it

It also appears that tank is extremely new. Once it matures a bit the fish will probably find a place they like and claim it. With no hosting anemomes or anything else in that tank in the pics anyway, clowns, which are really curious and realtively intligent have nothing to do.

+1 on clowns being somewhat intelligent and curious.. mine come say hi everyone time I walk up to the tank.. and I always see them doing weird but obvious gestures and movements against my overflow box
Really fun to watch

Thank you all! I've noticed that when I turn down flow at feeding time they seem to leave their corner and cover more tank. Not necessarily looking for food cause I drop it right on top of them.

My powerhead (2) are at the lowest setting.

I have had a number of clowns in the past, and none of them spend much time in between the rocks, so I would not say there is anything unusual about them. Chromis on the other hand will find a hole to dart into at night (or if there's a big hand waving around inside the tank). Give them time, and they will find their hole.

Mine say hi to me by biting me every time my had touches the water

Looks like they're trying to munch on some baby toes...

My clowns are either right next to each other on the left side of the tank, or one randomly swims to the opposite side, then comes back... (Except feeding time, then everyone is front and center, biting my darn hands.)
