Question on kessil a150w gooseclamp?

I am looking on purchasing two kessil a150w for my main light source in the next couple of days for my 4 ft 120gallon, with two more in a month or so. Total of 4 ; all sky blue. My biggest concern is that due to my living room layout, the goose clamps are the only mounting option for me. My tank is not rimless, and marinedepot states clamps r good for rimless or 1 1/8 trim. My tank is 1 2/8 trim. Any one using these on a non-rimless tank? Will they fit? Thanks for help.

I had to trim the lip on the tank just a bit. Nothing that would change the structural integrity. Mine is on a 60g marineland cube.
