Question on my GBTA?

I have had my GBTA for over a 1 week now. First week it was full of color and looked fine. Fed it how I was told from the guy I purchased it from. I went up north for 2 days and had a buddy just come over and feed the fish. Came back on Sunday and it moved from one cave to another on top where it would get the most light. On Monday I came home late and couldn't find it in my tank for the longest time. Turned out it was hiding in the live rock shriveled up and what it looked like was pooping. Now for the last 3 days it's been just inside the live rock only allowing a bit of light on it. Tentacles are not fully bubbly, but kind of stringy. Mouth is closed not open.
I did a 20% water change night I noticed it pooping. Since I wasn't able to do my water change over the weekend on Saturday when I usually do it.

I would take picture but he is too hard to see. All you can see through my live rock is a tentacle. I would try to move it, but it is solid stuck to whatever rock it is attached to. Also take to much time to move all the rock to get it. Whats going on?

Might be just acclimating to your lights. Are your lights more intense than the guy you got the nem from?

My two BTA's have come in and out of the the rocks. Give it time and make use the flow is not strong. The tentacles shouldn't be moving much or.it will stay hidden.

Yeah my lighting a little more intense then the one from the shop. I could see the flow thing might be it. Since I have the current in my tank about 20-25x. I have a koralia 800 in my tank. But partly covered with nylon legging. Also have 2 old power heads from my old tank that flow around 250 gph to 350 gph. I am going to replace those with a koralia 600 next week. Then next paycheck getting the smart wave maker.

What you call pooping may just be the Anemone regurgitating food because it has been fed too much. They will do that on occasion. Just make sure it is in an area of flow or that you take a turkey blaster and gently blow the poop away from the Anemone. You need to keep it clean because the poop as you call it can cause a bacteria infection. Other than that, it should be OK. Obviously it didn't like something so it moved. Mine do that on occasion but usually go back to where they were within a week. If not I gently move mine to where I want them.
