I just added on of these beautiful angels to my mixed reef. While at the lfs he was taking a couple of prawn eggs, I don't have any so my question is what did you guys feed to get them to eat, how long did it take before they started to eat.
Thanks

Two of my four never took food in QT, so they were moved directly into the DT within the week. My other two took immediately to mysis in QT. If you see them pecking on your live rock and you have visible algae growth and not an overloaded tank, then I'd not worry. My two that did not take mysis in QT were eating frozen within 10 days or so.
How long ago did you get the 4? Are they still doing good?
From my experience when dealing with multifasciata is you just have to try anything and everything to get it to start eating and the wean it onto better foods as it gets more adjusted. Also i highly recommend adding multiple supplements and vitamins to the food. QT is a must for this fish IMO!

Three have been together four years now, the fourth less than a year. Whilst QT is recommended, if they are fin clean and still not eating after a week, in they'd go. Same format four c. aurantius.
