Question on the 2 part solution.

Can anyone tell me what they use for the magnesium part of the 2 part solution. I am using recipe number 1. I have some ice melt that I bought for other reasons but it is magnesium chloride and sodium chloride. The sodium part scares me though. What do you use for the Magnesium part. Where do I find Epsom salt? Any help you can give me would be awesome.

I use Epsom salt "When I add any" if ever. You can get it at any drug store. Eckards or any of them. May even find it at a larger grocery store. In the medical Isle

I must have read it wrong then.. I thought I needed MAG flake and Epsom salt. Must be either one?? Where do you get your Mag From Mr Larry bird??

I got a 50 lb bag from Arnolds in Cortland.

We can split a bag if you want....and yeah 50 lb bag will take care of your reef, my reef, Jim's reef and a few others for a long time...I can grab it down by where I work.
