Question on water movement

If I were to use the Tunze Wavebox on a 150g tank do I need to use other method(s) of water movement, or does the Wavebox do it all?

Thanks
Jim Mc

I generally recommend having something else, the wavebox makes a rocking motion that lifts and suspends and it is a neat effect but you need a directional current as well.

Rodger,

Can you expalin why I need the directional current if the Wavebox is creating such a great back and forth motion?

Another question if you have time:

I have a 120g (dim 60x18 foot print) that I am going to put an over flow into and I think you recommend a center one. The other tank I am putting together is a 300g (96x24 foot print) with (2) overflows in the corners. Will I have problems with the "wave" on the 300g tank being to "big" or is the Wavebox contoller enable the wave height to be adjustable?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Jim Mc

Without a directional current their is nothing to move debris to your filters and overflows.

You can adjust wave height with the pump driver.
