Hello,

I had a question regarding filtration - I use the Red Sea Max 250 and I was curious what peoples views were on adding EXTRA Bio media and carbon and or phosphate removal media..

In the picture the media on the left is the default / recommended chamber but I don't use a heater in the right chamber (red) and its completely empty... Could I technically put media in this chamber as well? Is there such thing as too much?

Thanks for your help and guidance :) I appreciate it.

What are your parameters? If their well within limits then there's really no point in adding anymore filtration to the tank IMO.
