Question regarding plastics and Reef Tank

Question regarding plastics?
Thinking of getting a part made with a 3-D printer. Are all plastics OK for a reef tank? Nylon? ABS?

In general yes...
I'd suggest ABS material for 3d printed but really any of the common materials work just fine.. I've been using a PLA/PHA blend lately without issue

I would avoid any of the exotic metal filled or other "wood, clay,"etc... materials.
