Question regarding Red Sea diving.

Who's been?? Are there any Tridacna clams in this area of the world. I am heading over there withmy family in a few months...spending some time in Cairo and Lux as well. Diving in Sharm and Dahab. Any input is welcomed, except the "they hate Americans" garbage. Looking for real, insightful dialogue on this location.

i go to the red sea diving pretty often,
not sure about clams, but youll see purpule tangs emperors ,riggers amazing parrot fish, and lots of SPS.

the fish are freakin massive.

depenending on which side your gonna go to , egypt or israel, its basiclly if you wanna risk going to egypt.
because the egypt side is much nicer.

Thanks Joe...Egypt is much safer than Is. The state Dept has warnings out for Is. and none for Egypt. I will be safe though, thanks for the heads up.
