Where can I get a metal stand built around here? I would like to replace my wood stand with a metal one. I wanted to use EZ tubes but unsure if is strong enough to hold

I'd say a custom welding shop.
It however won't come as cheap as the one I offered you for 50

If you don't want it - just let me know...

Ritch, I have a friend that owns a metal shop, Jeff, from Mark & Son Metal, in Bedford Hills NY 914-666-6496, good guy, did steel on a few commercial buildings for me, also into custom cars, never asked him about tank stands, but if business is slow, its worth asking him, you can mention my name

Definitely wouldn't use the EZ tubes. Theres a metal fab shop on fairfield ave on the fairfield/bridgeport line that has done stuff for me.

Albano, thanks I will give a call later on and see on pricing. My problem would be by coming up with a way to fit it through the front door might have to make some parts removable would that be safe?

Galantra, did you ever find a reasonable local shop to make a metal stand for you? If so, which one if you dont mind? Always good to know.

I turned up nothing at all... Called up was told I would get a return call nothing e-mailed a company and still no reply. I would like to try this myself but unsure where to buy the tubes save me the time and hassle of bothing people.
