What do you think is the best high end in-sump skimmer available right now and why?

Yup. This topic is sort of talked to death and very common. Also many people, myself included, feel their skimmer is the best.

+1 search through the forums or use google and read reviews on certain skimmers. Bulk Reef usually has some good ones.

The Royal exclusiv stuff seems very nice. But also very overpriced. Seems like a case of using price to indicate quality to me at least. That said I don't own any of their equipment.

Why?, because they produce better than the competition due to the Red Dragon pumps.
