Question???

I've got a pretty good sized kenya tree. Well, part of it has seprated from the main colony and is now on large rock. I was wondering if I could rip it off the rock and mount it to a smaller rock? Or would it be better to just cut it off the rock leaving the base? I know with xenia, I could just peel it off the rock and mount it on another rock and it would be fine.

Cut it and another will grow from the base and have 3! If thats not to many. I recently "peeled", "ripped" one off in my nano rearange and a new one has sprung up from the tiniest fragment left behind so you may end up with 3 anyways.

yea thats what happened with the xenia. I went at it today and it is really attached though. I couldnt get it to peel off or get a piece started. So, I'll probably just slice it and leave the base.
