We are looking for water, sand, rock. So my question is what is the best/cheapest place to get it? We are willing to go about as far as Nashville. Also does anyone know of anyone with a 90-120 gallon tank for sale? I know there is the 220, but that is just way to big right now.

Glass cages in Dickson has some nice 90 gallon tanks. They are not reef ready and run $150.00. They will drill holes and install overflows and bulkhead fittings for an additional charge. I am picking a tank up from them next week. Once I set the new tank up, I may have some more of that Carribean rock left that I can give you. If you need a stand for your new tank (if you get one at Glass Cages), I think they build them too. Their website is www.glasscages.com If I can help you out in any way, just let me know.

I don't know your timeline, but if you keep your eyes open on all of the "local" reef club forums (NTRC, ETRC, MTRC, WTRC, and I know there's a Kentucky one I can't think of... or even an Alabama club maybe) you should be able to find a used tank pretty easily. More importantly, you can find great deals on rock, which is pretty hard to come by from LFS's for anything less than about 6-9 dollars/lb. Do the math to fill up a 90-120 gallon and that bill is more than I want to even think about. A lot of times, people getting out of the hobby are selling tanks with the rock... that's the way to go. If you are looking new, glass cages is supposed to have decent tanks at great prices. For big orders of live rock, I know a lot of people go for tampa bay saltwater. It's supposed to be real good stuff (just make sure you get out any of the nasty critters that are likely to come along with it... like mantis').
