i've been treating my nano with octozin because of ich and i was getting no where. i only had 2 clowns and a goby (besides my clean up crew) in my nano. i have taken the goby and clowns out, replaced my carbon and the purigen. how long will it be before the ich dies and do i need to take anything else out the tank to rid it of ich?

Hi stephen,

Sorry your having a probelms with ich and whatnot.

However, personally, I do not think that the octozin will have any effect on ich. it is flagellated protozoacide; good for interanl worms.. I highly doubt it will do anything for your ich.. No matter what the claims are.

thanks. how long will i have to leave my tank fish free? will my hermits, snails, shrimps or starfish be carring ich? i have no fish in my tank now, just the above.
