has anyone ever heard of a mantis eating/moving/relocating a ric? mine vanished in the night and it was the girls favorite "thing" in the tank. ideas thoughts?

Ricordea. If it was a movable piece, quite likely. My mushrooms disappeared one by one until they all lined her (mantis') burrow.

All the time. Mantis believe themselves to be interior decorators, and landscape architects.

Yes, when i had my old g.smithii she loved to take mushrooms of of their rocks. i never saw that thing again, and it was a 40 dollar piece too

yeah, if you're going to throw corals into a mantis tank, you want to be sure they're really secure.

grrr it knew what it was doing by hiding deep in the rock and here i go and move it to the middle piece where the mantis lives or so i think. yet more evidence for it oh yeah its devloped a taste for red legged hermits, ya know the big ones, a step up from the small blue legged ones and more expensive!!! come to think of it i lost some gps awhile back hmmm thinks and ponders.... thanks this critter is too dang cool now i only whish it would shoe its face
