will a coral beauty eat a peppermint shrimp? i just got a coral beauty and he hid under the rocks, i couldn't tell if he was hiding or trying to eat my peppermint shrimp. thanks in advance, jason

I also have a coral beuty and 2 pep shrimp, and they have lived together for a long time with no prob.. My guess is he's just a little scared with the new surroundings.

Probably just hiding.

I've had a Coral Beauty with peppermint shrimps for a long time before without problems.

now the coral beauty is swimming around and feeding off the rocks! he's awesome! no pun intended but, what a beautiful fish

Isn't a CB more a Algae loving fish than a meat eater but will take in brine shrimp etc...

the store told me to feed him flake food or shrimp.

Ive read somewhere that they scrape algae off your rocks and stuff.. but will also eat flake food, brine shrimp etc...
