Hi all, just wanted some thoughts as I have recently been second guessing myself. Currently running a 5x2x2 mixed reef including sps. Everything is doing great but sps could be better. My thoughts are
- do I have to much light or even not enough (76 x 3w mixed colour LEDs @ 10hrs/day with 1.5hr ramp up and down), is there a way to tell as I have growth and some colour but a fair amount of brown at the moment. Water is optimum.
And/Or
- do I have enough flow. (50-60x turnover). Reason I think this is because I have tunze 6095's which have wide flow and as much as I love these pumps and am confident that the flow numbers are accurate, with the flow being so wide wouldn't a narrow pump pushing that same amount cause more turbulence??
Are there any tell tale signs to look for to tell if you have too much or not enough flow and same for light?
