has anyone ever had or can tell me something about the Picotope 3 Gallon Aquarium Kit? i see it on dr fosters and smiths and thinking about getting it for the office
I had a 5 gallon tank and it is tough to keep anything in it other than some coral frags, maybe a shrimp or two and a snail or two .... BUT it is really cool once it settles and fills out. I would say have bottled water sitting your work desk (sealed - ro purified) and use that as top off water (shake - open cap - blow some bubbles in it with a straw and let sit) ...... also the water changes can be a real biotch @ the office (if you mean work office and not home office) .....
otherwise as long as you don't mind no fish and people asking why no fish .... then I would say - Go for it!
I kept a 2gallon pico with much success. You just have to baby it and keep toxins away. If you have any questions, I built my own with a little mini glass tank and partitioned it and had a built in wet dry. It worked quite well.
