questions about a 150 gallon stand

does anyone know the height inside of a standard 72 x 18 150 gallon stand AGA makes.

I'm going to purchase one this week and would like to buy a skimmer for it, I just don't know the height requirements of it.

Make sure you can take out your collection cup on your skimmer.

I would recommend buying the stand first and getting your sump set into place - then measure yourself.

Published numbers are great, but actual measured numbers are always better.

I agree!!

The stand on my 150 is around 30 - 32 1/4" (30 being where the tank sits on the stand, and the 32 being the total height of the stand) Granted I have the oak, BUT,, the inside dimension is only around 27" high!!

So the 24" skimmer may not fit in a 28" stand.....
