Questions about Cadlights PLS-50 Nano

I have a Coralife Biocube 29. I added a sump. I need a skimmer and was thinking of the Cadlights PLS-50 Nano. I have not bought a skimmer in a while and people seem to like it.

The question is, how much height do I need to operate it? I have about 16" in height in the sump so it would have to sit on the bottom. Above that is a shelf. Will that be enough to pull the cup?

How deep does the water need to be to operate? I have about 6" but I could maybe increase that.

Would it fit in a chamber?

Any other options?

Any comments would be appreciated.

SCA301. Best bang for your buck skimmer on the market. Exactly the same as the Bubble Magus NAC3.5.

What is the max height you can fit?

The Hydor Slim Skim Nano is 12" high and gets great reviews.

I've got 15" - 16' if I move the shelf. I could drill more and raise it, but I'd rather not. Hydor sounds interesting. Does the Hydor fit in one of the chambers in the back?
