Questions about Clownfish

I have two questions, actually.

I had a pair of ocellaris clownfish, and one recently died. Do I need to pair my clownfish with another ocellaris, or can I get a Darwin or a Wyoming White?

Second question... We were thinking of getting another tank, dedicated to just clownfish. Can we buy several different types and put them all together in one tank? If so, do I need to buy them in pairs - two ocellaris, two darwins, etc.?

Ive made this mistake. As much as I love clown fish. IMO 3+ don't seem to get along. Even in larger tanks Once established (territorial).

you are mixing a few things up. A "Wyoming White" is the trade name, they are still A. Ocellaris. If you have an existing one, you can pair them up still, but it may be difficult based on if your existing one is male or female. You could certainly see some aggression.

As for multiple pairs in the same tank, do-able, but you'll probably need a large tank. Most people that do a clown only tank also load it with anemones.
