Questions about droncit

I have a 10gal hospital tank set up. I currently have a very small dogface puffer in it with a bad case of ICH. I just got this guy from my LFS 3 days ago and he looked great until lastnight. So he's in there with hyposalinity. I have access to droncit as well as any other vet drugs. What is the recommended dose of drincit for this tank? Is there something better that I can use to save this little guy?
Thanks Gina

Droncit is used for treating cestodes. Ich is a ciliated protozoan and praziquantel will be ineffective in treating it. Regardless of any drugs you may have access to, the best treatment for ich is hyposalinity (SG 1.009) and copper. A fresh water dip may be useful to dislodge parasites that have not buried into the dermis yet. Make sure temp and pH match your QT parameters.

Since you have a relationship with a vet, you should get him to do a skin scrape to make sure it is ich and that there are not other pathogens to deal with.
