Questions about ICH & inverts

will ich live on my shrimp, crabs, star-fish, and eel?? if I pull out my few fish to dose with copper in an emergency tank, do I have to worry about the ich living on the inverts and then retransferring to my fish after I does em for a few weeks??? I HATE ICH... GODDAMNED PETCO! how does ich effect coral?

Ich can not complete its' life cycle without a vertebrate. Shrimps, crabs, starfish, eels and corals are invertebrates. You have to leave your main tank fallow (fish less) for, and this is debatable, 6-12 weeks. Pull your fish out, put in a hospital tank and treat. Read the stickies on ich....tons of info on the web.

An eel is a vertebrate and a fish. They can carry and and catch ich.

to teach the person that if they want to get answers to their questions/concerns they need to be respectful. otherwise that behavior continues.
