Questions about my new BTA (Maybe Help!)

Baby Fish Wrangler
I got a Green BTA Saturday. I drip acclimated him and placed him in the lower section of the tank where the sand and rocks come together so he could decide where he wanted to be. Long story short he hung out there till yesterday and then moved himself to the back side of the rocks between the backwall of the aquarium and the rocks. The only way I can see him is from the back side of the tank. Should I do something to move him. The lighting back there is not great and I have no way of getting back there to feed him.

I would leave it alone for a couple days, let it get use to the new environment, and it should move to a better spot.

It is never recommended to physically touch the anemone. Since it is a bta you would need to move the rock it is attached to if you wanted to move it or you could try changing the water current in the location to get it to move.

Edit: If you decide to move the rocks be very careful not to crush it and sometimes they can be attached to multiple rocks. One of mine is wedged in between two rocks and half of the base is on the top rock and the other half in on the bottom rock.

Give it a few days to settle down. I have some that I place them in one spot and they stay there and others that move around (back behind rocks) and eventually come out in a viewable spot. Patience is one thing I KNOW I DON'T have but with time it will hopefully settle in. Also what type of tank did it come from (i.e. lighting, flow, etc.)? Now show us some pics!

Ill try and get a pic from when it was out. It came from a tank with dual 250's a little less flow than I have, but the same depth and almost the same setup. I guess I will have to be patient.
