Questions about placement of unequal streams

Make my Funk a P-Funk
Hello,

I am planning my next tank and have a 6201, 6100 and a 6212 wavebox. With the 7095 controller.

The wavebox will be in one or the other external compartments or this tank. Most likely, it will be the one in the front.

The tank is about 72"x30"

You can see "brackets" in several locations around the perimeter of the tank. And I plan on mounting the pumps using brackets like Jar*Head had.

I plan on this sort of layout.

Wit one pump at the left end of the tank, and the other at the front edge of the beveled section in the right rear corner.

Now, my questions.

Would the larger 6201 be better suited in the left or right location?

Would any of the other locations where I already have brackets be more suitable?

I do want to minimize the visual impact of the streams, so i am tending not to want them at the front of the tank, but have considered the right front location for one of them. That is the location I have a single 6100 in my current 180.

I am not planning on running the 6212 on the controller because I can't see any real reason to.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

Can you tell me more about the flow, I notice some bulkhead holes on the left side, will you have any sort of closed loop? I probably would use the wavebox unless more flow would be present. What is the planned return flow?

Thanks Roger

Those two holes are external waveboxes, although I will only have one. But the wavebox is a critical part of my plan.

This might help you visualize it.

I think the return pump will be somewhere between 1,000 and 3,000 gph. Not a very narrow range, but I have two different pumps I might use.

If a wave is included in the flow plan the pump should be enough, I would place each pump in a back corner aimed diagonally across the tank but which goes where would depend on coral placement, place the 6200 nearer your high flow corals.
