Questions about placements of corals

Well my friend had decided to stop reefing for a while. I had bought all of his equipments and corals. I have a list of corals that I need to know if where I should put them in the tank. I am also currently using 2x250watt MH and is a 100 gallon tank.

Here are some list that I need to know the placement of corals:

Green star polyps
2 small and 1 large toadstool
Xenia
Variety of Mushrooms
Colt or Kenya tree coral
and some Zoanthus

I am kind of new to reefing and would like to know more about these corals also.

Thanks..

whatever you do, put that xenia at the very top of the rock, or on a rock completely away from other rocks...otherwise it will grow over everything and you cant get rid of the stuff. Put it at the bottom, it grows up the rock towards the light, leaving babies all along. So if you start it at the top...there's really nowhere for it to go upwards

Do the same with the star polyps. and leave enough space between the mushroms / zoos and your soft corals. try to plan what u want the tank to look like in a few years, so everything grows into it rather than beng forced into it as they are now and have nowhere to grow in the future. remember that the umbrella leathers overshadow anyhting under them, so maybe seperate your toadstools from the other sofites with the mushrooms and leave plenty of rocks between both so the mushrooms finaly touch the corals ina few years when they are already really big, rather than letting the mushrooms multiply while their close to a growing coral and evetually sting it b4 it has a chance to get big.
