I know there's a lot of threads about replacing the center brace (I've read them), but I do have a couple questions I haven't seen answered:
1) Would lexan be a good choice for a replacement? I've got some 1/8" lexan that I've already cut, but I'm hoping it's strong enough.
2) Will the replacement last? Especially underneath a 150 or 250W MH lamp? What's the potential for failure?
