Questions about the Foam extractor

Hey,

I have a Tunze 9010 skimmer, after some initial problems with a bad pump, and some help from roger , the skimmer has been up and running great on my tank for almost a year. Thanks.

My question: I am in the process of switching tanks, and want to continue using my 9010. The problem is that I built a super low-profile stand, with only 20" of interior hieght. My sump is rather tall as well. The skimmer fits fine in the new setup, but I can't renove the cup without tilting it sideways and dumping all of my skimmate back in the sump .... lol. I am thinking about getting the foam extractor to remedy this issue. What are the dimensions on the foam extractor. My collection resivior will obviously be below the skimmer, but the drain hose might need to go up and over the sump wall. Will this work?

I am at the factory now but badly jet lagged so I am working from a catalog and memory. Basically this set up should be 1.3 in taller than the 9010, the elbow is 1 in and the bottom of the elbow should be about the same height as the top of the 9010 cup.
