Great article. I read it earlier this month. It's required reading for anyone with TBS who never saw a mantis before. Like me.

I have a really samll Mantis that came with Shipment 1. Sort of like him. How long before he grows to be something I need to remove. He is about an 1/2 inch today.

Myself, as soon as I spot one, the hunt is on. Your tank tho. Just remember they may possibly be the worlds most prolific predator.

They can grow pretty quick. I got one of my at ~ 3/4" and it reached ~2.5" (full size) in 6 months or so. They are really good at busting open barnacles, snails, and hermit crabs. Unless you want it to make a buffet of your tank, put it somewhere that you can control it's diet.
