I have a JBJ 12G DX with the 75W JBJ Viper 14k. I was wondering if this would be sufficient for specifically LPS and if anyone may know, SPS (I am thinking no). Thanks gents.
That's plenty of light, especially for some of the large single polyp ones like Trachys, Scolys, Cynarina, etc. The main problem is they get big so you won't be able to fit too many in the tank.
Thank you for the reply. Do you have any specific links for reading up on their requirements? (I normally would search, but that feature is as reliable as crap)
read through this forum, but in general they like gentle currents, somewhat reduced light, and standard reef water params. They appreciate feedings with meaty foods like mysis shrimp from time to time as well. Quite simple to care for, actually.
