After reading some more through the forum about problems people have with clams I'm just more confused, the main problem or desiese I see is PM or private message, I mean pinched mantle (took me a good 3 posts to figure that one out unfortunately). Unfortunately I have no clue how exactly to id pinched mantle my best guess is that the mantle would be pinched, but pinched on what? Any pictures or better explainations would be great, is the clam wide open and this is scretching the clam out or is it shut closed with the mantle being pinched between the shells? Once again any help with pictures would be FANTASTIC. Also other problems I should look for would be great.
