Questions on Panther Grouper

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I really like the adults as well as the juveniles. If you haven't done so already, try yours on frozen foods. Mysis would be a good option for such a small fish.

On another note, I have one of the pools/pool build threads that Dmorty mentioned above. If you have any questions about setting yours up, maintenance, equipment... etc... don't hesitate to send me a PM, or you can always post your questions in my thread in the FO forums. I actually got a lot of the inspiration for my pool from another member here (griseum), so you might want to have a look at some of his threads as well.

I like the big fish as well, been keeping Oscars for a while, so nothing new to big goofy fish.. The LFS in town has an indoor pool (roughly 10', 3' deep in some places) and he has several big Oscars like mine, a few large brim, couple of cats, and plenty of huge Koi it it..Didnt even see the Oscars in it till it grabbed my finger while I was feeding the Koi..

I have been trying mine on mysis but he hits it and then spits it out,, of course I am still feeding live as well.. Gonna go a few days with the mysis only and see if he will come around..

I will give your threads a look..
Still havent decided if I want to do a 10' x 2'circle/square or just do a really long one, (14' x 4' x 2').. Building is 12' x 24' so I have room......Just have to get wifes outdoor one done first...
