Questions on Ph monitors

I am thinking about getting a calcium reactor, Even though this might not be for a few months or so, Do you guys think the American Marine Pinpoint Ph Controller is a good thing to get?

Is $185 on marine depot a good price?

For another 50-70 bucks you can get an AC Jr. to control the entire tank. I love mine, controls temp, pH of my CA reactor, lights, fans.

I would look around to find a used Pinpoint controller instead of a new one. They aren't that great IMO.

he's right an ac jr is a much better investment. I wish I had gone that route to start with.

I have an ac jr on my 29. I love it. It can control your lights and fans heater to keep your nano temperatures stable.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like I have a lil more homework to do. should I just be patient and buy used? or try to save and go new?
