Questions on possible Ich and solutions.....

I introduced a Trigger to my DT that got what appeared to be ich after a couple days. I removed it and got to hospital tank and it died. Shortly thereafter, the other trigger in my tank had the same thing happen and died in hospital tank. A week later my tang had some spots on it but seems to have fought it off and has looked to be fully healed. Today my Foxface had a few spots.

Is my only recourse to pull all of my fish and go fallow?

If you would like to totally eradicate the parasite yes fallow or complete tear down is the only option, if you you would like to practice ich management then there are options
Are you sure your dealing with ick ? Not velvet

I think so....what options are you referring to? If my Foxface declines I'll have to break it down but really don't want to if it can be avoided.

Post a pic of the fish with spots let us see what they look like. Options are ick treatments which claim to be reef safe these products will not totally eradicate the ick but help keep ick numbers manageable. I really can recommend one over the other because I've never used any of them. Also feeding the fish well and adding vitamins and garlic to the food will help there immune systems fight parasites. More than likely you will continue to see the ick on your fish but it will not as bad. There are articles on the web if you google ick management

I've had great success with paraguard. Don't forget water changs, lower nitrates reduces stress, more likely to pull through.
