Quick? Coral Beauty behavior

I picked up a Coral Beauty yesterday and all it does is hide in the rocks is this normal behavior for one. Or does it need a few days to adjust?

This is normal and in a few days it should be swimming out in the open more. Hopefully this is the last angel going in otherwise it'll be a terror.

It is the one and only angel, good to hear it should swim out in the open in a few days. Was getting kind a worried its a beautiful fish hate to have it hide all the time.

Definitely normal behavior. Does he come out to eat at all? If not don't panic right away, it might be a couple days or even a couple weeks before he feels comfortable. Do you have other more active fish in the tank? They will also help to convince him its safe to come out. Coral Beauties are very timid at first but once they settle in they are very active and charismatic, I like them a lot.

Yup, normal.
I've had mine for over six years, and each time I've moved it , five times in all, it hides for days.

Hey PWA, did your coral beauty ever come out from under the rocks? I just added one yesterday and am seeing the same behavior.
