Quick help needed for Power Blue

I brought home a Power Blue about 6 to 8 weeks ago and he has been doing fine. This evening he had layed himself over under a rock tunnel and was listless until I tried to move him from the tank. He is still breathing, but very little. I scooped him up into a quarantine box and he will not swim around, just slumped over on his side.

My levels are just were they were on Friday night when I did a 10% water
change on my 120GL.

Temp = 78.4
Salinity=1.027
PH = 8.25 (has been jumping from 8.1 to 8.3 over the past 24 hours)
Nitrate = 0
Nitrite = 0
Ammonia = .6 (on Nutrafin Test) or less than 1.2

I have many other fish, 3 cardinals, 4 clowns, 5 damsels, mandarin, Lawnmower Blenny, Dragon Goby, blue starfish - None of them are having an issue.

I did suck a fair amount of Dino from the sand bed on Friday trying to clear up a nasty bloom that has occurred, but not sure if maybe he got ahold of a piece and it was too toxic?

The poor guy doesn't show signs of disease or bite marks from other fish. I just don't know what can be done to save the little guy. Any advice out there?

Ammonia should read zero at all times, I'd suspect this the culprit. Most likely stirred up some toxins from the sand bed. (Not sure the technical term)

Thank you for the possibility, I will be looking into this ASAP.

It is rather difficult to match up the color of the test tube to the color chart. Matching the color to the chart never shows above .6 on their ratings. So not 100% sure if it is 0 or .6. I am looking for a better tester so that I can get more pinpoint accurate.

Well, less than 6 hours later he is still alive. Still tipping over to lay on his side, but alive. I kept him in the hang on quarantine basket that hangs just at the water line over night and added an air stone to the basket. I will keep an eye on him today and see how he does. Hopefully he will come back around.

You don't need pinpoint accuracy; you need to realize that Any ammonia indicates a problem.
