Quick Help!!!

So my fish have been dieing off ... I tested my water, everything was good. Took it to 2 LFS and both gave me the same results that I got. I was told to see if I was leaching electricity.

I tested it with my fluke meter and found out that my return pump is leaching 10V and my heater is leaching 3V. My skimmer is not leaching anything, nor is my power heads (though I would not expect it to as they are MP10s)

Is this enough to cause all my fish to die. My corals (8+) have been doing fine and are not showing any signs of stress, including my SPS and Nem.

Thanks for any help

Fish won't be effected by power leak in tank. They are suspended like birds on power lines and not grounded. Though take the heater out and replace it. There could be metals leaking from broken heater that might have killed fish. I would get them out in qt or do large water changes.

No its not an issue at all.. Your meter is simply picking up "noise" from them being on..

Do you have all submerged equipment plugged into a GFCI outlet or power strip with GFCI protection or a GFCI breaker? You should..

Tank has been up for 6 months, 60G cube, with +-20G sump, Only had one fish in the tank for the past 2 months, orange spotted blenny, he passed last night, did not eat. Tested the tank last night. PH 8.2, Ammonia 0ppm, Nitrite 0ppm, Nitrate 5ppm, alk 7.5, cal 420, salinity 1.24, temp 79.5 (monitored with apex). 2 LFS test this morning and afternoon, all had the same results.

Corals,

Bubble tip nem
3 leathers
torch
hammer
random SPS
candy cain
open brain

All corals are growing (slowly) but looking good

Had other fish in the past but they all past away as well, however that was due to bad husbandry and pour water quality (rarely did water changes). Now I have the DOS for the APEX and do a 2G water change about three times a week for a total of 10% weekly.

So just 1 fish died?
That obviously can happen..

Your post makes it seem like you have been having multiple recent fish deaths..

It my be ok for one of your fish to die

obviously It is not ok with me and I do not like it.

There is no reason that I can see why he should have died and I am simply looking for input from others.

All I'm saying is that it may have just been its time to go or it got a disease/sick or something and its death may not be related to something in the water or faulty equipment or whatever..

Sometimes its just time to die...

You had the fish for two months and all of a sudden died? I'm sorry to hear this. Did you happen to add anything to the tank recently?

The bubble tip and him were added together and they were the last things I added to the tank, other then that I only dos my alk.
