quick question about ick

i have all my fish out of my 28 gallon, and i have them in a QT being treated for ick. Currently in my dsplay tank i have a cleaner shrimp and some snails, and i was wondering if adding inverts, or corals is a no-no or not durring the 40 days im leaving it fish free to rid my display tank of ick. Am i good to go adding anything but fish, or do i have to wait for the ick to be gone first?

The ick only attacks the fish, the other critters should be fine

I could be way off base here, but I guess it's theoretically possible that the new inverts could have ich on them from the store that comes in on even a small bit of water from another tank. While they may not host ich, I guess it's possible you could add ich with a new invert.

i would agree. let's say your on a timeline, and you add something and it has ick. your timleine would start over again
