quick question for you

hey roger i am on the waiting list for the new muti controller but tis a 2 month wait i am 15th on marine depots list

anyway i want to know if i can still use the 2 6100s i plan on using in my 180? i want to order them this week or next but can they be used without a controller?

i mean i dont think i can set them on full blast is there a way to set them lower wihtout the controller or no?

is the new contorller worth the wait? i mean i dont think i can wait 2 months?

also what about the magnet holders i want to know can i use one for my tunze osmolator universal 3155 or no?

and how long is the wait for those magnet holders?

Yes, it is worth the wait and their really isn't an option, the 7094 is no more. I don't think the wait will be quite so long, as for the magnet holders, I don't know exactly how long the wait will be.

I am not certain that the magnet holders will work for the osmolator, physically it is possible but the float uses a magnet and the interference may be a problem, I hop to test this over Chirstmas as I am doing some work on an Osmolator related product and will be playing with them anyway. For now, I wouldn't recommend it.

The 6100's will work without the controller and yes, you can reduce the speed with a small screwdriver on a potentiometer on the side of the driver. You have to return it to full power before connecting a controller.

alright well how does this sound get that 2 6100s right now

run them in my tank i am curing right now so theres just rock in there. so it doesnt matter if i haev to i can tone it down alittl ewith the screw driver.

then wait for the controller to come well wait for my name to come up on the list

then turn the tunze back up to full power and contect the controller and run them in tide mode i think it was you told me?

whats best?

i will wait for the magnets too and just use the regular mounts that they come with.

will they work for the and AGA tank? 180 gallon?

That would mean 12 more to go to get you the controller. We will see, I was told this morning their is a part missing and that their are many waiting they just need one last part.

Your plan sounds fine and yes they will work with the delivered hardware on AGA.
