Would adding a checkerboard wrasse (Halichoeres hortulanus) deplete my mandarin's pod population? If not, will it work with my current fish list?
I have a 210 gallon tank connected to a 30 gallon frag tank, and about a 40 gallon sump with refugium filled with chaeto.
Here is my DT fish population now:
1 Scissortail goby
2 clowns
2 fairy wrasse
1 flasher wrasse
1 melanarus wrasse (also halichoeres)
1 bangaii Cardinal
3 bartlets anthias
1 fox face
1 yellow tang
And 1 mandarin goby
Here is my Frag Tank population:
2 platinum clowns
1 lawnmower blenny
1 Springer's damsel
Please let me know your thoughts and connect it with your findings or personal experience!
